Westfield Jazz Bass - upgrade in progress! : Cheltenham : £15

This started out life as a sea-blue 4string Westfield Jazz Bass. As you can see, it's since been altered!

The neck was always nice on this but pickups were dull & clunky. I also hated the colour, preferring woods and sunbursts. I wanted to try my hand at upgrading this to be up there with the Fender J's.

The hardware, pickguard, pickups & electronics have been stripped off (included in sale). The body has been roughly sanded back but needs smoothing before paint/varnishing. It also needs putting back together.

The headstock has had the Westfield logo sanded off & a Fender Jazz bass transfer applied. It's also had a quick treatment of linseed oil.

If you're buying this for the body/neck parts you're laughing, if it's for a project I'd recommend some nicer pickups than these!
