It is an offical fender mexican stratocaster as you can see is has been equiped with seymour duncan jb jr pickup's and it as also been profesionaly set up.

It is in used condition with scratches here and there but there are not paint defects and the scratches are only visiable upon close inspection

In response to noise level regulations and demands from the trade for a level control unit which will work with any audio system, Formula Sound have designed the AVC2.

The AVC2 performs as an intelligent volume control and in operation is very simple. If the average operating level is kept below the internally set threshold, the AVC2 has no effect. If the average programme level exceeds the threshold the unit will reduce its output level. The level is reduced in discreet steps indicated by the l.e.d. bar graph meter on the front panel of the unit. The action of the AVC2 is to fade between these steps and is almost undetectable in use. The more one tries to increase the volume, the more the AVC2 will decrease it so that the system will barely change in perceived level. If driven to maximum attenuation, the output level will be reduced by more than the increase in input level. The mixer or pre amp feeding the AVC2 will probably be clipping, but the system will actually be at a lower than normal level. A clip indicator is provided to show when the input stage of the AVC2 is being over driven. Reducing the input level will gently release the attenuation provided by the AVC2.

Westfield Jazz Bass - upgrade in progress! : Cheltenham : £15

This started out life as a sea-blue 4string Westfield Jazz Bass. As you can see, it's since been altered!

The neck was always nice on this but pickups were dull & clunky. I also hated the colour, preferring woods and sunbursts. I wanted to try my hand at upgrading this to be up there with the Fender J's.

The hardware, pickguard, pickups & electronics have been stripped off (included in sale). The body has been roughly sanded back but needs smoothing before paint/varnishing. It also needs putting back together.

The headstock has had the Westfield logo sanded off & a Fender Jazz bass transfer applied. It's also had a quick treatment of linseed oil.

If you're buying this for the body/neck parts you're laughing, if it's for a project I'd recommend some nicer pickups than these!

Nice beginner's guitar, a few dings to add character!

The tremelo is anchored down but I've now found and attached the whammy bar to be included in the sale.

There's only one retaining nut on the instrument jack which is why it's sticking out a mile now I've tightened it up (see pic) so you'd probably want to add another nut and a washer or two to bring it flush with the body.

There's also a screw and spring missing from the neck pickup (see pic) - another easy fix.

Comes with soft case.

So why the sound holes, because it can't be just for show??
This is a factual concept that works... and you can test this on your exisiting or any acoustic guitar.

The Indie Sound holes allow some of the Bass tones to get out earlier producing a very well balanced tone! You can test this by covering the holes!

With a Jumbo body size and very simple ideas this is a real gem that is great for those unplugged acoustic nights or a buskers dream its loud and balanced and competes with guitars valued at three times the price! ..

Constructed with a solid cedarIndie's Acoustic Pro Sound Jumbo top and laminated mahogany back and sides, the Sound is a 16"-wide jumbo with rims a full 125mm deep. To help maximise the supposed sonic pluses of the extra soundholes, the body is lacquered with a resonance-friendly open-pore satin (effectively matt) finish, though the neck is grain-filled for a slick, smooth grip. Under the top, the location of the multi-holes means that the small tone braces behind the treble side of the ‘X' have to be dispensed with, but the bridge plate is larger than usual, presumably to provide compensating structural stability around this area. The bracing is otherwise conventional.
Satin-finish acoustics can look drab, but here the cedar's warm hue goes well with the soundhole's wood, sharktooth-themed rosette inlay, and the cream-bound top's pretty ‘rope' purfling. Cream binding edges the back and the rosewood fingerboard, the former featuring a wood-mosaic centre strip. The binding theme is continued around the headstock, which carries a rosewood overlay and a precise, smooth-geared set of Indie-branded gold diecast tuners. All detailing is very neatly done, and the innards are clean too.
The glue-jointed mahogany neck - three-piece with a scarfed-on peghead and separate heel portion - has a slender width, with an evenly rounded mid-depth profile that sits snugly in the hand. String spacing at the bridge is an easy-feeling 55mm; playability is very good, thanks to the neck's fast, satin patina, our sample's low action, and the frets... well-fitted and dressed, with a wider section than normal that feels more positive for string bending. They're the kind of frets that will appeal to players swopping regularly from electric to acoustic.

This is my Tokai Rockinbetter RG4003 in sunburst.

I bought this bass a couple of months ago, I'm primarily a guitarist but my need for a bass is no longer.

This is a lovely example of the Rickenbacker copy. As you can see in pictures it has an upgraded bridge pick up as opposed to what most pictures of these basses will show. It makes tone a lot fuller and the bass more sightly too.

It is very versatile; anyone you might associate with the Rickenbacker is covered and more- McCartney, Foxton, Lemmy. You can get high end ambient tones or pure growl from the bridge pickup.

This bass is as new, there are no flaws, and it has been practiced with about 5 or 6 times. It Retails at £599 so this is a bargain!

This is my much loved Jackson V and the case I bought with it. It is hard to see in some pics (and sometimes in person) but it is actually a very dark blue with a sort of glittery effect.

I'm having to sell as I no longer have time to play in a band and if I did I don't think I would be playing much thrash metal anymore :(

The guitar has two humbucker pick ups and a Floyd Rose tremolo system. There is a 3 way selector switch (bridge, mix, neck) and a volume knob. It could probably do with a new set of strings and setting up in a more conventional tuning (I think I currently have it in B - B)

The guitar cost me £350 brand new and the case was about £40-50 (cant remember exact figure). I'm selling the whole lot for £300 - there is just some superficial damage to the guitar as shown in pics.

In full working order, only gigged 3 or 4 times. Sounds good despite being smaller than a normal 4x12 cab, and lighter and easier to transport than a full-sized half-stack.

2007 fender baja telcaster electric guitar natural finish, springsteen style relic : Loughborough : £220

I purchased this guitar brand new in 2007 from a guitar shop in Newark. It was originally a fender Baja telecaster with a blond finish and i paid £499 for it.Over the last 5 years Ive made a few changes too this great guitar. I sanded the finish off of the body as the blonde was too light for my liking, i replaced the s1 switching with standard telecaster switching, Ive changed the pick ups. The bridge is a vintage 50's pickup and the neck is a custom shop nocaster, the machine heads have been changed too vintage American ones.

this is a lovely guitar and had a really nice 50's style chunky neck. Ive recently renewed the brass bridge saddles and set the action and inotation myself. You may want too alter this or get a shop too do it professionally. The action at the minute i would say is medium, not too high, but not too low.The guitar has been gigged over the years and does have a bit of fret were but has many years left in it !

There are 2 bad points too the guitar, firstly i brought some cheap strap locks for it when i first brought it and the screws supplied were bigger and made out of cheap monkey metal !, upon screwing them in the heads sheered off ( on both strap locks) these were drilled out, the holes were filled with wood resin and the wholes were re drilled. This is not an issue an all !

secondly when i sanded the body down i used an air sander and a couple of the radius's on the body are not perfect. This is only minor and could be resolved in 10 minutes with some sand paper!

due too the amount of modifications and the 2 small flaws in the guitar i'm not going too ask silly money ! Ive spend a fair bit on some of the parts !

Sustain is great and the pickups sound so bluesy its a pleaseure to play. Apologies first, for the dreadful quality photos which do not show this unit in it's true glory as it's in fantastic condition considering it's over thirty years old.
This is basically a 19" rack version of some of the best pedals Ibanez ever made at their Maxon factory in the early 1980's.
It is not a digital approximation of those pedals, but all the same circuits, on one large PCB that is full of early JRC 4558 chips. Featuring exactly the same controls that you find on the pedals.
It also has an ingenious system that they call 'Insta Patch' which allows you to configure the pedals in any order. There is also an effect loop so if you want to add your favourite pedal somewhere in the equation it's very easy to do.
The CP-9 Compressor has got to be the very best that I have ever heard. Bar none. It sounds more like Dave Gilmour's lead sound on 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' than anything I have ever encountered in 36 years of playing. With incredible punch whilst still retaining the crystal clear essence of a Strat or Tele.
The PQ-9 Parametric EQ is a great tool for adding extra punch or clarity to solo or rhythm work. Or for removing harsh frequencies.
The CS-9 Stereo Chorus gives you all those weird and wonderful Cure/Banshees/Cocteau Twins style chorusing.
The AD80 Analog Delay is the jewel in the crown and has got to be the most sought after vintage analog delay circuit on the planet. I've seen several AD-80's change hands on Ebay for over £250 a piece. Fantastically clean, but very soft organic repeats and insane feedback control make it an instant go to for rockabilly, reggae dub effects or sci-fi swirls. You can lose hours drifting off on a trail of pretty echoes….
Comes with it's own pedal board to switch each effect in or out and a total Master switch that bypasses the whole unit.
This is connected to the back of the rack unit by a very long (over 20 feet) cable.
All in all a very very sweet bit of kit in excellent condition considering it's over thirty years old!
All the switches and pots work fine and it sounds awesome as the Youtube clip on the left illustrates.
This is a American 110v powered unit but I will include a step down transformer so it's ready for European use.
