2007 fender baja telcaster electric guitar natural finish, springsteen style relic : Loughborough : £220

I purchased this guitar brand new in 2007 from a guitar shop in Newark. It was originally a fender Baja telecaster with a blond finish and i paid £499 for it.Over the last 5 years Ive made a few changes too this great guitar. I sanded the finish off of the body as the blonde was too light for my liking, i replaced the s1 switching with standard telecaster switching, Ive changed the pick ups. The bridge is a vintage 50's pickup and the neck is a custom shop nocaster, the machine heads have been changed too vintage American ones.

this is a lovely guitar and had a really nice 50's style chunky neck. Ive recently renewed the brass bridge saddles and set the action and inotation myself. You may want too alter this or get a shop too do it professionally. The action at the minute i would say is medium, not too high, but not too low.The guitar has been gigged over the years and does have a bit of fret were but has many years left in it !

There are 2 bad points too the guitar, firstly i brought some cheap strap locks for it when i first brought it and the screws supplied were bigger and made out of cheap monkey metal !, upon screwing them in the heads sheered off ( on both strap locks) these were drilled out, the holes were filled with wood resin and the wholes were re drilled. This is not an issue an all !

secondly when i sanded the body down i used an air sander and a couple of the radius's on the body are not perfect. This is only minor and could be resolved in 10 minutes with some sand paper!

due too the amount of modifications and the 2 small flaws in the guitar i'm not going too ask silly money ! Ive spend a fair bit on some of the parts !
